HANESBRANDS INC. DATA INCIDENT
Authorized by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina
- A proposed Settlement has been reached with Hanesbrands Inc. ("HBI") relating to a sophisticated ransomware attack discovered by the company in May 2022.
- The Data Incident impacted certain personal information ("PII"), which varies by individual.
- You may be eligible to receive benefits from a Settlement valued at approximately $475,000.

If approved, the Settlement will provide Class Members with the following benefits:
- Reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses related to the Data Incident (up to an aggregate cap of $100,000)
- AND your choice of ONE of the following:
- Two years of credit and identity monitoring services (retail value $599)
- Hanes site credit for one-time use up to $50 plus free shipping (valued at $6.99)
- Alternative cash payment of $35
Your Legal Rights and Options
| FILE A CLAIM FORM DEADLINE: JANUARY 3, 2025 |
Submitting a Claim Form is the only way that you can receive any of the monetary Settlement Benefits provided by this Settlement, including Credit and Identity Monitoring Services, a Documented Loss Payment, Site Credit, or an Alternative Cash Payment. If you submit a Claim Form, you will give up the right to sue HBI and certain Released Parties in a separate lawsuit about the legal claims this Settlement resolves. |

This is the only option that allows you to sue, continue to sue, or be part of another lawsuit against HBI, or certain Released Parties (as defined in the Settlement Agreement), for the claims this Settlement resolves. If you exclude yourself, you will give up the right to receive any Settlement Benefits from this Settlement. |
| OBJECT TO OR COMMENT ON THE SETTLEMENT DEADLINE: JANUARY 3, 2025 |
You may object to the Settlement by writing to the Court and informing it as to why you do not think the Settlement should be approved. You can also write the Court to provide comments or reasons why you support the Settlement. You will still be bound by the Settlement if it is approved, and you will not be allowed to exclude yourself from the Settlement. If you object, you may also file a Claim Form to receive Settlement Benefits, but you will give up the right to sue HBI and Released Parties in a separate lawsuit about the legal claims this Settlement resolves. |
| GO TO THE "FINAL APPROVAL" HEARING DATE: MARCH 10, 2025 |
You may attend the Final Approval Hearing where the Court may hear arguments concerning approval of the Settlement. If you wish to speak at the Final Approval Hearing, you must make a request to do so in your written objection or comment. You are not required to attend the Final Approval Hearing. |
| DO NOTHING | If you do nothing, you will not receive any of the monetary Settlement Benefits and you will give up your rights to sue HBI and certain Released Parties for the claims this Settlement resolves. |
